Upper Chocolate 8/14

Son and I hit it at 6am. We found a light and caught some dinks and one keeper. Then fished till 10 with nothing. Bite was definitely off.

How far upper? North of 2004 bridge, Lutes or salt water barrier?
Curious because I will be there sunday

Just down from Lutes. Went there again at 3am to fish lights this morning but only got dinks. Still, the boys got their lines stretched.

Went out there Sunday and fished the bay and bayou from a PB. Caught lots of fish but they were all undersized.
Did see a plethora of yakers out there

We were under birds next to geotubes in south Chocolate and caught a ton of fish. all dinks. Caught a few reds just NE of the spoil south of 2004. Caught 6 keeper trout on the shoreline just south of the bubbler of all places.
