Got a late start Saturday. Checked out Steadmans but wind was howling so decided to hit the back lakes.
Started off slow with mostly hard heads but did see a few reds up in the grass. Moved around for a while just checking things out but eventually ended up where we started about 5 pm. Couldn't hardly keep a bait in the water the next two hours. Trout, redfish and even a lone drum. Mostly undersized but great fun on the water. And yes the wife did out fish me again.
Now if some of the weekenders go home we should be back out exploring
