Though the weather forecast looked favorable so the three of us headed out from Houston....only to encounter [what were supped to be <5mph winds] 12+mph out of the south. Sky overcast, water way warm. Only one of managed to boat a fish, 4lb+ on a topwater, after throwing every in the box at 'em. Couple a fellow TKF'ers we met at the ramp, if I remember correctly, only boated a single fish [crankbait]. Plenty of boaters on the water, but didn't see a lot of bent rods.
