mud island on 6/29

I hit mud island off san luis pass out of curiousity and wasnt dissapointed. the sw wind pushed all kinds of bait into the march that a boat wouldnt dream of getting into. it was the first time ive actually seen a flounder jump out of the water. must have seen 15-20 reds although i only got 2 due to my inability to keep quiet. definitly a place to check out under the right conditions for sight casting.
