march and april

these last two months have been great. regardless of conditions i have been able to find some solid trout. In march I caught my first trout on topwater. And now I'm hooked. Ive caught all my fish on top since then and have had some epic days. On the last day of march i was fishing in muddy water caught 3 trout over 25 with one of them barely at 28in lbs. tragically i was by myself and while i grabbing for my phone to get a shot of the beautiful fish it slipped out of my hands. most of the fish I'm catching are 20in with some bigger girls mixed in. here are some pictures from the last two months.

Nice fish you got there! Have to do a marsh trip to use topwater lures... Certainly fun to get them that way.
