Gibbon's Creek Reservior 2/14

Post by AggieTX »

Went out for a few hours yesterday. Had a hard time getting any bait to fish live or cut. I did get 2 minnows...pathetic, I know.

Went into the deep water past the island where the original creekbed was and caught a small drum. Fished for some bass for a while with no bites.

There were more people out there yesterday than I have ever seen out there. I didn't see or hear of anyone catching anything except for a guy that said he caught a few catfish at the spillway/discharge.

Anyway, had fun and got out on the water for the first time this year. So, still a good day.

I always seemed to catch a drum when I fished Gibbons. Must have a good population of them.
