Today worked in the attic putting a plywood floor for storage from 9am to 5pm and wanted to hit the water. Took some ibuprofen and prepare to leave by 7:30 to fish West Bay.
The tide was incoming but it was going to be flat all night. That did not stop me from going out and fish for a few hrs.
The water was cold, temp drop below 52, had wsw winds < 5mph. Visibility was about 3ft and there was no water movement. The lights were empty on the back canals but found some slight activity in the lights facing West Bay. Total tally was 3 fish. Two were landed and one lost on the side of the kayak. Got just one more nibble and that was it. Out of the water by 11pm.
Hope it gets better soon!
