GISP 10/19
I got on the water at about noon on Sunday and fished the geo tubes. I caught one keeper trout and was about to call it a day. But I decided to fish on the shore side of the geo tubes. I was using live shrimp and a popping cork... Something kept hitting and taking off running. Finally, I got the hook to set and I pulled in a nice 24' red.

Geo tubes? Care to explain? I've started fishing gisp the past couple trips. I'm familiar with bartell island and the cuts. I'm actually going back this weekend thinking of fishing cow chip cove this time.

Congrats on catching dinner. Those tubes can be great during a hard outgoing tide as it pulls bait from the marsh.
