I haven't posted on here in a while and really thought I should share this one i wrote yesterday so enjoy!
Alright guys just got back from an insanely good morning and wanted to share some of the action with yall. This morning Clint and I hit the water around 7am and the tide was very low with the water being glass. We hit a shoreline where we saw a small school on and both instantly hooked up at the same time, our fish crossed lines and clints fish got off but I was able to get mine in. After that we paddled down the shoreline with one of us as shallow as we can go and the other a few yards deeper, this made it to where the shallow guy would spook any redfish while the other picked guy picked him up. We then came to a drain that had rushing water coming from it and caught two keeper trout and a nice 6lb red. We then decided to paddle to a few other shorelines where we sight casted for the rest of the day on, we then used the pitching method which allowed us to catch 98% of the fish from just a few feet from our kayak. We ended up with around 30 solid redfish and called it a day...an epic day!!! It's that time of the year and I'm in heaven.
