10/15 Marshes
Hit the Marshes at Sunrise and we couldn't ask for a better day, the skies were clear and the wind was calm. The morning started off good with my buddy catching 4 flounder and looking for the last one to get his limit. During the same time I had found a nice slot red not to far up the road. As the day went on flounder continued hitting and my buddy got his first limit. Towards the end of the day we found schools of reds killing bait with birds joining in on the fun. I have read many times on here about people seeing this but have never witnessed it for myself, it was exciting. This event was in 1-2' of water over thick mud bottom. Two reds got off for me ("The infamous one that got away") and my buddy landed one on a top water. Great day fishing.

Nothing gets the heart pounding like seeing a big school of reds busting bait on the surface. Congrats on the good day.
