Great report and blog. Thanks for the tip on how heat effected your line. All mine has been in the garage all summer. Another lesson learned about Zman lures...don't store them loose in your tackle box..results in a melted mess.

I noticed where I had the spool sitting that the sun comes through the blinds of my garage window. So I'm thinking it had more to do with the sunlight than just the heat. Yeah I leave all of my ZMan baits in the package that they come in and keep those in a soft plastics binder.
