Smith Point

Post by txbrett »

First trip in almost a year, and the maiden voyage in my new T-160! Tide was pretty low when I got there, but was coming in all morning. Caught a 15" flounder and casted to and caught a fat, tailing 26" red. Caught both on Buggs....they produce dinner. :D Water was in decent shape, but not as clear as I'd hoped with the calm winds we've had. ESE wind picked up more than I expected also. All in all, I was a successful trip. Off the water by 10:15. The pic of the red sucks, but I was hurrying to try to get a cast at the others in the area.
