I got on the water at about 5:30 just before sunrise and fished the lights on the way out of the canals while it was still dark. Caught a couple of undersized trout using a gulp shrimp and a rat red. Then I fished along Jumbile cove until about nine, to no avail. I then anchored outside the mouth of the Jamaica beach canal's where there was a bunch of activity and ended up taking home two speckled trout.
