Zephyr Cove- 7 reds, 3 Hours

Post by macjank7 »

Got the itch to catch some reds after checking the wind forecast this morning so I got home from working the night shift, loaded up and hit the road Jack!
Threw the yak in at 9AM and paddled a few miles to Zephyr Cove and sight cast seven reds from 18-27" over grass/ sand pockets and booked it home in time to catch a couple hours sleep before I go back to work tonight.

ahhh the website changes, but your fishing spots never do. Great catch. I like that color combo, what was the water clearly like?
