Kicking off the season today, couldn't ask for better conditions. Should be putting in at Rawlings. Anybody have any recents reports/advice?

Air temp was in the mid seventies and the water was clear. Fished the southern part of the west shore line. Found some some bait on the down current side of an exposed oyster bed in about 3 to 4 ft of water. We used live shrimp under a popping cork. The redfish work thick, mostly rats but with some keepers mixed in. Literally as fast as you could bait a shrimp and cast, we were hooked up. Ended up being a great day on the water, other than my wedding ring being somewhere on the bottom of the bay right now...
