Luces Bayou 2/19/2014 report largemouth bass

Another good day at luces got to ponderosa at 1pm and stayed till 6pm. It was slow at first got a few here and there hitting the point and drop offs. Then around 4pm it turned on and picked up another 9 bass. They were all 12-15" and 1-2lb did not hit a big girl this time but maybe next!

I never been to Luces Bayou, but plan to go this sunday. Where is a good place to launch I have 2 hobie PA's.

I launch from ponderosa and head toward the bridge and hit the points and coves past that,

Good report Rich, have you ever tried fishing for crappie there? Heard it's pretty good
