Fun day north of Dallas

At a little lake a few miles north of Dallas this morning I took my 7-wt flyrod, armed with tiny brush hogs because of the massive hydrilla there, and caught 19 bass up to 4.5#, many of them in the 2 - 2.5# range. Lost one that was a good 5.5#er. They liked it weightless and slow moving, most of the time they'd hit it on the fall. The pics are on my cellphone and I can't transfer them to this forum.

How well did the TBH cast on a fly rod?

With a 7-wt fast rod it does fairly well. It's not a thing you want to do much false casting with, but I don't do much false casting anyway.
