I'm a beginner Kayak Fisherman in the Dallas area. Can anyone give me some tips on LMB for this time of year? Locations? Lures, depth? Anything would be very helpful! Thank you.

The weather doesn't seem to want to cooperate with us fishing folks it seems. I've been junk fishing since Summer days. I've haven't a clue what to throw. I fish from a kayak without a finder so I mainly stick to shallow fishing or creeks. Try the creek mouths out with some square bills or chatter baits, which helped produce some fatties these past months. Good luck to you.

Oh yeah btw I'm about to fish a private lake here in a few hours, throwing mainly the swing head (football) jig searching for lethargic bass. I'll be on the shore due to high winds but will update if any to report, especially off certain lures. I'll have a vibrating lure tied to see if any reaction hits are present as well.
