Lake Austin help

Planning on hitting up lake Austin for the first time soon. I guess I will be launching at the 360 bridge, any advice from there? The cove near the golf course looks good from satellite images.

All I can say is be careful. Alot of surf boats going up and down the river there. They put out massive wakes that can capsize a kayak even if it's a heavy stable one. Too much traffic in the summer for my liking. Lady Bird is a nice alternative, tends to much calmer, only kayaks and SUP's everywhere.
