Got back yesterday from a great trip to Martin Dies. It's been a while since I had such a productive trip lots of good sized large mouth and a yellow bass (striper), I'm just getting back into fishing and it was a great time. Need to restock the tackle box, I decorated the trees with 3-4 productive lures.
Most activity on some older Strike King spinners that I had and a Rebel Pooper R.

Congrats on a successful trip. It's been a few years since I've seen any kind of bass caught out of there. I've mostly seen bream and catfish (and Gar, lol).
Good job.

@Unlimitedx and yakety-yak.... Couple buddies and I have been interested in fishing Martin Dies for years, but have yet to pull the trigger. We'd be interested in meeting you up there as well. PM me if and when interested.

i wish I had your confidence in that lake. I used to live about half way to Jasper and it really beat me down. I could go up river and do better. Maybe I need some lessons.
