Flat Cove Lake Palestine

Post by hunterlee5587 »

I put in the boat at FM 314 in Flat Creek, and enjoyed a mile or 2 paddle into Flat Cove, and found water to be 6 inches to 2ft, and lots of submerged timber that the stained water made difficult to spot, hence my need to order a new transom mount lol. The interesting part of the day were these deer. Fishing report, I did not wet many lines after my transducer incident, so I can not give an accurate report. For those who do take their kayaks to Flat Cove, be really careful. I caught more stumps with my hull within an hour than I have on longer trips at Lake Fork.

Haven't forgot about ya. Just waiting for my schedule to get solid, and I'll be down there in Corpus with ya so we can get on them specks and reds.
