The Boy Scouts needed an extra driver for the kids so loading the kayak up for the trip was a no brainer. With the help of Josh's Outfitters I launched around 7:30am and by 9:30 I caught so many fish it became a bit mundane. Josh told me what to throw, where to launch and shuttled me to the fish. No giant fish but the numbers came easy on various fluke type baits. Ultra lite gear, 4# test line, multiple species, beautiful area and clean, clear water. A far cry from our marshes around Galveston.
Great Trip!
Here are some pics and I tried to catch some release videos...don't laugh too much as the fish don't always cooperate!
Launch site.

Did you not bother to bring the mirage drive for the really low areas?
Great pics and bring back memories from nice times! Those Garner State Park dances were classic meet and greet places in my young days.
Thanks for posting!
