Port Arnsas Eating

Post by Country »

Im headed to Port A Sunday for a couple of days. What are some good seafood spots in and around Port A? Ive only been once several years ago and didn't really find anything that stood out on my own. Thanks in advance

We really love the Tarpon Grill at the Tarpon Inn Hotel. Great food at reasonable(for a vacation town) prices. Don't fail to have the cilantro lime rice as a side dish! Their upstairs, upscale restaurant is pricey, but the grill is a good daytime eatery. Enjoy.

Tarpon Grill is gone! Went there yesterday and it's now La Barataria, an upscale fine dining restaurant, only open nights. Due to the ferry, I'm never in PA after 3 PM. TexasJim

Here's a few more.

Shells (small place but the food is awesome!)
Seafood & Spaghetti Works (great salad bar)
Moby Dicks (great breakfasts)
Fins (overlooks the marina)
And if all else fails....there's always Whataburger! :D

For non-seafood, check out Lance's BBQ Shack on Tarpon.
He's a retired SAPD and one heck of a Pit Boss.
