Shipping my kayak?
Shipping my kayak?
Hey guys, anyone ever shipped a kayak a long distance (NV to TX)? Man at the mailbox store said roughly $500 which means I'm going to be fishing from shore for a while. Any ideas?

I have never shipped a kayak, but i have shipped motorcycles for a lot less than 500.

I've had three yaks ship from santa cruz ca. I think it was like 150. Saia is what was used and it was cheeper to pick up at the freighter.

You might just look at selling it in NV then buying another one in TX if the shipping costs are too high.
