Brazos River below Rochelle's

Last fall some friends and I paddled the stretch from just below the dam to Rochelle's. It was a nice run with spectacular scenery but the river was a lot wider and slower than I was expecting with only a few fast stretches What is the river like below Rochelle'sxown to Hwy 180? A. It kind of looks like it changes with more beaches and rills

I did it with DNr 6 or so years ago. The scenery does not compare to the first 20 miles. The first 5 miles is just lousy with no trespassing signs and at least at that tie the beaches were few. I have stuck to the first 20 miles since.
