Hey campers, the wife and I are headed to Colorado Bend in a few weekends to camp. We've got a great little kayak camping tent, but we're thinking of buying a 2-3 room tent for our site camping. Can anyone recommend a good one that will not break the bank? Preferrably under $200.
Thanks!

Have you checked Walmart? Saw this on their site:

Yeah I did, just not too sure about Ozark Trail. I think amazon has Coleman's cheaper, just not sure which to order.

I have had a number of Ozark Trails tents and they are not really bad for the money, but I would go to Coleman as a more durable product I just wonder if a couple really needs 2 rooms when weighed against their bulk. I would think in most cases a 9'x9' would be plenty unless really locked in all day, which is unusual. But if want you a table, chairs and more for heating or rainy days it maybe just the ticket.

Yeah, we don't really need the 2 rooms for just us. When you weigh-in the dog, possibility of kids soon, and other people wanting to tag along we figured we might as well buy a good one now versus spending the money on a 2nd tent later.

I've been really happy with my 10 year old $30 Coleman for kayak camping, I guess I'll stick with them.

I've recommended this one on this forum before.

It's really only good for State Parks when you have several people. I've long since ditched the original bag and it fits in a canvas military duffel. I originally got it because I was taking a pack n play with baby stuff. It's pretty huge and only has about 15 nights logged in the last two years.
