OK, so I've done some googling and I have seen and read of some different ways to get rid of the bubbles that are created when mixing the the resin and hardener. I don't own a heat gun so that's out of the question. Some of the ways I've seen and read about that I can do at very cheap if not no cost is to mist a little bit of Acetone on it after waiting 5 minutes for it to self level. Another way is to get a straw and blow hot air on the bubbles but I am afraid I'll pass out doing this. Another way I read about is taking your brush and dip it in mineral spirits, ring it out so it's not dripping and then brush over the bubbles with it. Is there any other ways that you guys do to get rid of these bubbles that is cost/ quality effective?? Have any of you used the acetone way? Thanks in advance.

Not sure if there are more aversions to heat gun, but for 9.99 it might be more cost effective than poor results with the other methods and redoing the project.

Are you talking about poly or epoxy?

Rig up a simple vacuum system with a shop vac and mason/mayo jar. Pulls the bubbles out, looks like its boiling.

if so
2 tricks ,pass a torch "propane can " type on top of the area
repeat several times like 6 inches away from surface.

num 2 "do you smoke??"
get your cigarrete and blow the smoke to the surface
works like a charm!

Heat up a flat spackling tool and run it along the bubbles
