Hybrid NL Duck Boat
Hybrid NL Duck Boat
I was going to build a pirogue for hunting & camping, but decided to build a layout boat first. This is a modified Hybrid NL. I stole all the modification ideas from online, can't claim any of them as my own. Hardest part of this build was finding the time to do it. Paddles like a barge, catches a lot of find, but it's damn stable and is going to be deadly in a few weeks. 60 lb dog can jump in and out with no problems, him and I can stand in the dog box and the hunt deck barely goes under the water's surface. The paint and raffia grass cover all my blemishes. I am very pleased with my first boat build so far. Anyone on here built one of these?

11' long, 44" wide. Heavier than my 13' OK prowler, not sure how I can get an accurate weight.JimBeaux wrote:Nice job. Whats the dimensions & weight?

When I weighed my pirogue I weighed myself on the scale, picked up the boat, and then weighed it while I held it. Subtract me from the weight and that was it.jackh wrote:11' long, 44" wide.
