I am putting together a Kaholo 14 SUP. I will post up the entire build once completed, but I just though yall fellow wood workers would enjoy this macro of the bevels I cut in 3mm okoume plywood prior to scarfing!! It feels goooooood!!!

Iv'e used a skillsaw jig. Belt sander plane combo, just get some scraps and practice kinda like birdsmouth shafts, fun when you get it right.

Just a low angle block plane. The sharper the better. Its amazingly simple.

I wish my scarf bevels looked that nice. Ended up having to finish mine with the belt sander.

Yeah I checked out the thread for your Kaholo. Looks like you are doing a great job to me!!
Sweet to have someone to compare notes with. I really liked that paddle you made... might be stealing a few of those ideas!
