At least you have experience on your side.
Give the nurses Hell and let us know if you need anything.

Glad to hear it went well. Indeed you are missing out on boating in some nice weather but get healed first, you'll have time to enjoy the weather later.

Sounds like they dun ya up real good. When ya get to feeling froggy again, look round and see if they still have a river near Spring Branch.

Joe,Doug, Ron, Rodney, And all thanks for everything. What was a scarey proposition has passed into a precursor of good things ahead.
got discharged for the weekend, and the sheer pleasure to sit outside in the sunlight and breeze is not something to take lightly.
going to be limited to 10 lb lifting/moving for some weeks, but so looking forward to getting on the water and it's just going to get better. I think the ultra lite out fits will get the 1st work out

How are things going? Just checking up. We have another one of those boat building gatherings coming up pretty soon.
Re: Core Sound 17' sailboat
Coming along nicely thanks, still restricted to lite duty and Doc said no to my planned Brazos trip next month, no paddling till Sternum heals, this being the 3rd time it will take a little longer.
doing a bit of wood butchering, small lite weight stuff, rudder, oars, cook box and tent set up for the sailboat, time dosn't drag so much that way.

Good to hear you are getting better. Prolly a little late but things are slow around here anyway.
