Thats Awesome! I got to see that boat all rigged up for sailing at the boat builders gathering. Beautiful boat. Amazing craftsmanship.

That's AWESOME!!! I read that site daily. As soon as I saw that article, I though..."Wait I've seen that boat before." Of course only in pictures on this site. It was nice to see the pictures and write up on Duckworks.
Not to ruin this thread, but my article should be published soon too. It's called "The Perfect Boat". Keep an eye out for it!
Chuck L. is a super guy. He is very humble and his site has been a great influence in the hobby of boat building.
Here is a picture of him at a messabout we recently did on Canyon Lake. That is the boat he did the Texas 200 in this year. He was taking it on it's maiden voyage to test it before the TX 200. The picture is actually kinda funny. We met out at an island on the lake. The waves and wind got a little much for my tiny boat so he offered to ferry me back to shore. This is when we got back and loaded his boat. If you look close, you can see my white boat towards the front of his cockpit. That is how he got me, him and my boat back to shore!

Now thats a great pic, gives meaning to the word piggy back ( do they use that expression in the USA).
I went to the messabout on Canyon April this year with the Toto set up as a Tri, unfortunatly way to much wind/waves to sail. there will be others though.
I frequent Duckworks site to.

Re: Makingmends is a celebrity
Well MM, you have got to have the nicest looking Toto known to exsist!! It is absolutley beautiful. Has Jim Michalak seen it or corresponded with you about it? I love that Chuck held your article as the cover story, that photo says it all!!
I have actually stongley considered a Toto. It is a lot of boat for it's size. It also appears to be very flexible as to build with adding fore and aft air boxes and such. But I must admit, I would not have thought about a trimaran out of one...Now that is just plain cool!!

U F yes Michalak was at last years Sail Oklahoma on Eufala where I had theToto in the Tri mode, he had to do a double take to be sure. I''ll be back there this Oct with her and hopefully a finished Core Sound 17'.
