Is this one going to be another striped/stitch & glue or are you going to use plywood?

Never mind, I guess I need to read a little more carefully.

First I will need to clarify on which boat this is. The River Ranger series of 3 panel boats are 12', 14', and 16'--all 28", or so, wide. The River Ranger design can look good and have good performance, but the biggest thing about River Ranger boats is that they are the simplest and easiest boat to build that I could design. Ron's offsets are NOT for a River Ranger boat. Ron's boat is a 16' X 24" 3 panel 'No Name" boat. I guess for right now we can call it the BBWorks "no name" boat. I don't know if it'll ever get a name. First we need to get Ron to build it and test it. If it ever gets a formal name then it, or something similar, will become one of my stock plans, but for now we're in the experimental stage. I'm excited about this because I know Ron will do a good job, test it thoroughly (even though it's his grand daughter's boat  ), and let us know what he thinks.

BUT, as he mentioned in the last post, it will be built with the open cockpit, short deck, which is the Brazos River Fishing boat style.

.142 metric tons. If that's no help....it's 220 pounds at the 4" waterline. It should paddle fine 1" on either side of the waterline. Say...up to 300 pounds.

Not much to the ripping , just a table saw with a thin blade and a couple saw horses with roller on top.
Pics next week.

SLIVER
That sounds like a good name for this boat, long slender pointed and shiny like a sliver of glass.
