Wow. Have you weighed it?

Apologize if the answer is buried somewhere in this thread. I have not followed it closely and just quickly skimmed everything.

I'm guessing no more than 45 pounds without the seat.

Preacher,

You need to edit the title from "TIME FOR FISHING" to "TIME FOR SLIME!"

The first page of this post shows this sketch drawing. It is 12' 3" long, 28" wide at the widest point on the hull plate and 33" at the top of the side wall. The side walls are 10" high frpm the stern to midships and rises to 12" at the bow tip. The seat elevates the paddler 9" above the floor of the boat.

Just a little follow up. I tooke her out to Lake Bonham last weekend and gave her a spin (approx 20 miles over 2 days). The boat paddles just great. Good speed, tracking, and turning. It is very stable (good thing because I'm a weeble wobble). I mostly jug fished out of it due to the fierce winds all weekend. Leaning over to retrieve the cats and work the jugs I found out how really stable she is. I love the elevated seat, it made fishing for long periods of time much easier on my back and legs.

Oh yeah, I caught a bunch of catfish and fed the whole family on Sunday!!!
Sorry no pics, I was so caught up in the new boat and catching fish I forgot.

Thanks again to my awesome brother for another great B-Day present!
