IT'S THE WOOD BOAT CURSE
It was a day of monsters and they kept jumping into my boat!
A very good day in the ole wooden Bumble Bee on a private lake in Athens.
2nd 8 pounder, 22 inches
I don't know how many fish i caught today, probabloy around 20. The smallest was about 3 pounds, bunches of the rest around 5 pounds average.
Totally AWESOME DAY!
Sorry about the limited pics, I had to use my G1 phone and that scares me out on the water.

Caddo Lake--about 4" of water, lots of lilly pads. When my paddle hit the water and pads the fish sailed right up into the boat--from in front of the paddle. I guess I really scared it. I was looking close for alligators...

Preacher...you are making not building a boat a real personal problem for me! More wood boat skunk stories would help me put this off!

I swear to you that the boats we are paddling are very good for fishing. Strider use to get skunked regularly until he started fishing out of a wood boat....barditch wrote: Preacher...you are making not building a boat a real personal problem for me!
