Re: pirogue plans
That's nice little pirogue in the photo. What's it's length, width and weight?

Re: pirogue plans
I was doing a search on here the other day, and I remember that particular photo...there is more of a discussion on it on this forum...somewhere, but at the moment has eluded me!

Re: pirogue plans
I used Uncle Johns web site to build my boats. i built my first pirgue 6 years ago and its still in good shape since then i built 3 more for friends. once you get that first one out of the way you learn and know the tricks and tweeks you want to add or change.

Re: pirogue plans
waterdog, how long did it take you to build a uncle jon??
Re: pirogue plans
it took a 3 days to glue and screw all the peaces together and a week of fiberglassing and painting. the fiberglassing was the longest process because of waiting for it to cure. every year i add a little more paint and touch ups on fiberglass. I fiberglassed all joints, seams and the bottom.
