I am *so* looking forward to it. 4.5 hour drive for me, so I need to try to get the truck packed tonight and leave tomorrow morning (taking a day of vacation Friday to make it worth the trip).

I'm bringing my digital SLR camera as well as my little waterproof p&s digital, and I'm hoping everyone won't mind me taking pictures of their boats. I'd love to get a picture of each boat along with its owner or builder. Not likely for any commercial publication, I'm not that good of a photographer :) but for fun and to post here for others to see.

I'm at ILSP now, just got the camper set up and open for business. Man, it's WINDY here, my little pop-up's rockin' and rollin'! Gonna make for great sleeping if it keeps up, nothing like having a rocking trailer to cradle you at night. I listened to a couple weather forecasts, and they sounded schitzophrenic so I won't repeat 'em. Something about a front, who knows...

Iamdamoder,

You may see us shooting up 281 Saturday morning. Two vehicles....with 3 yaks, one canoe, and one skerry :)

We plan on leaving at around 8.

We are nearly neighbors. One of my sons buddys lives near you and recognized your pics. We are hoping to get away around 6 and fish a little before the event.

Can't wait to see those boats. Hopfully I can choose a design and start a build of my own.

The hardest part will be deciding what to build. The rest is easy, plus, you have local technical support if you need it! I'll be glad to answer any questions you may have, assuming I know the answer :)

Thanx Birke,
I vowed not make any decision untill this weekend. So the time has come to dust off the handheld beaver and let the chips fly.
