That looked interesting, to me, also. I've been to Farley Boatworks numerous times, and to their Wooden Boatbuilding event in the PA Park. Looking at CLC's designs and kits, makes me think they're really proud of their stuff! There have been several Tango Skiffs built at Farley. Tango has a plan for a S-O-T kayak, that uses two sheets of 1/4" plywood, weighs less than 40 pounds, and should cost way less to build than one of the CLC kits. If I had a space to work in, I would try to build one of the Tangos. The CLC boats are sure pretty to look at, though. I don't think I have ever built anything that would look good varnished. Paint hides my poor workmanship! TexasJim
