Strip built panels for S&G
Any one ever tried to glue 1/4 inch cedar strips together into boards and then cut out the stitch and glue panels? I got a million questions just as soon as I think of em.

ahhh--no, I've never tried that. It would work though. I'll have to think about it for awhile. Might have possibilities considering the price of marine plywood now days.

That's what I'm talkin about price and fancy. You may have to spot glue it so it will conform better and then it my not work. The glue line may make it stiff. If it would work it would be the peaches. If I has some I would try it.

Re: I got questions big time.
POGO it's the bow deal that got that cut n shoot thing rollin. I have been there though. I make wood bows out of oak boards or trees split and seasoned and shaved into bows. I'm no pro but I can make a good hunting bow. I also have the stuff to do fiberglass ones and I used to work on glass airplanes some. I have quite a bit of F glass construction back ground . I have 2 sets of airplane plans but had to let all that go with the kids going to private school. My partner still builds em. I have spent my whole life fortune hunting, fishing, foolin with airplanes and bows. Spent 4 days a week on the lake when I was fishin a lot. Really miss that. I have a big john boat and a 21 foot bass boat but cant get into it any more. I really like to fish but not like that. I want to paddle and sneak around creeks and shallow places. I like to duck hunt but wont eat one so unless I have a partner that will eat em I don't hunt. I'm pretty ELKY though is what my wife says! When that time a year rolls around I'm hard to get along with. She says she has to watch me to make sure I don't make a scrape or rub in the living room.
