A Salty Christmas at Searim

Post by blesker »

I think that'd be the theme for the BTB 2007 event held at Searim this past weekend - or perhaps a Foggy Christmas would fit better?

;)

http://kendallarsonphotography.com/btb1207/

It's 57 images - so might take a while to load for some folks.

Some snapshots in here - some are more than that.

You'll find close-ups of how to rig a crab here - how to cut a crab here - and even photos of Northpaw demonstrating how to cast a crab here. ;)

Um, some action shots of launching - some art shots - some birds.

I do find the shovel and reindeer head rather twisted and macabre - which of course means I like it. :)

Enjoyed meeting the lot of you - hated leaving but really had to.

Too many folks to thank, but have to of course say thanks TJ for putting this on to help the kids - great talk - Herb and Jan are almost like hosts out there - and Northpaw, thanks a ton for all the prepping and cooking.

I'll put the stuffed mushroom recipe up in the recipe forum in case folks want it. :)

I'd just like to know how you're able to pop a wheelie in that XFactor. ;)

If you look closely, you'll see a photo of Jan losing the deer head on launch. The horror of it all.

;)

The wheelie has nothing to do with my paddling skills, but the superior design of the X-Factor!

And I didn't have to look close at Jan losing poor Rudolph.......it was in plain sight.......aaaahhhh, bad karma!!!

She may be required to give the Big Game back to Herb!! :P

Those are some great pictures! Not sure which is or was better , the photos or the great food. Had a wonderful time despite the fog and tent full of mosquitoes.

Yup, great pics. The pics of my trailer came out pretty sweet with the truck lights behind it. It was good to meet and talk with you. Hope to do it again in the new year.
