BTB on PINS and "flash mob" fishing!!
Anyone interested on planning a PINS trip?
I go to HI because I can always find a "base camp" and people to paddle with. PINS doesn't seem to work that way.
Plus a trip to PINS is a little more serious. The main road isn't just over the dune. It's 40 miles up the beach. And you have to have a 4x4.
We could develope a new (new to me) kind of BTB fishing. Flash Mob fishing!
Put yaks in the back of pickup trucks and have them rigged and ready to go.
Drive down toward the jetty (and back). Maybe have 2 or 3 miles between trucks.
When someone see birds working and fish jumping, or a cloud of anchovies, VHF the location, grab the yaks and head out quick.
When the fishing dies down, back in the truck and keep looking.
Any interest?
