Video from yesterday

Post by Prof. Salt »

Man did I have video issues! The best fish didn't get on video, the angles were a little off, and several times I turned the camera off when it needed to come on, and I just kept doing the opposite of what I meant, all afternoon. Still, here's a little over 4 minutes of useful info for conditions, some fish, and another deep water re-entry.

Wow, 19.2 mi. Now that's a workout! All the problems and you still put out great video. Nice. Thank Prof!

That's a long trip! I really enjoy the voice over. Lots of additional information and details I normally wouldn't hear.

Glenn,
notice you're wearing something like dry pants every time you go out, even in the heat of summer.
Or boot-foot waders?
I understand that protects your legs from mackerel teeth and possible hook scrapes or worse.
What brand/model pants are those?
Thanks

And, what I want to know, is how many times have you practiced deep water re-entries? That was too slick!
Thanks!

They're quick-dry Simms G4 pants and regular black socks, lol. They simply protect me from the sun and jelly fish, because my neoprene boots are a tight fit in the foot wells of the Stealth. It's a very comfortable way to paddle.

they look heavier than that - even look like multiple layers - more like G3 or Kokatat dry pants.
I'm used to the Simms "superlight" pants I wear kayaking in the summer - thanks.
