Bolivar Bull Reds all around

Post by Wolfman57 »

Hey All. Here is the video of the Slabs bull red trip a few weeks ago. We had 4 boats fishing and caught 22-23 bull reds that day.

Water was like a lake launching and clarity was more tea than mud.

Great day in the water with friends

That's just cruel Craig. Between the weather and my commitments, I've only made one BTB trip this year and it was a slow day.

Sorry I missed that day with you guys, but congrats to all who were there.

Enjoyed the video Craig. I'd like to meet up this summer to get some sharks or reds. Where exactly are the Slabs?

Hey We missed you too. Sometimes schedules just don’t line up.

I was surprised the day you went was slow. But it beat me having to work!

I’ll do a better job posting up when I go. That trip was Bolivar Peninsula. It’s been a mess with the work they have been doing on 87. But the slabs are before 124 and 87.

Appreciate it. Life's pretty busy at the moment, but I should have more free time when school lets out (wife is a teacher). I'll PM you when that time comes.

Craig, I've been hesitant of launching from the slabs only because I've seen high tide all the way to the dunes almost making it impossible to get down there to launch. It sounds like you guys were not having that issue?

Congrats on the amazing day you guys had!!
