First thing I noticed about the reel was its outstanding build quality the reel looks flawless but seems tuff. The second thing was the backplay in the handle Wow! Was not expecting that, infinite anti reverse is void which surprised me. I wanted this reel for jigging but without the infinite anti reverse it will be mainly for trolling, live bait and bottom fishing. All and all I am happy with it just waiting to take it out and get her wet.

I decided to go with a trevella but just not sure if I should go with the med or MH

I've got a couple of each....can't really go wrong with either. Guess I'd give the nod to the MH...little more resistance to breaking when highsticked.
The sx does have a lot of slack due to the large teeth in the dog gear. You can jig around it with some practice.
