Lol heatstroke!
So.... two brave fishermen ( or should I say morons) ventured out into the harsh conditions on Saturday AM. I have lots of info but don't want to put a YY wall of text so I will make this as short as possible.
Had to take the long way around cuz galv rds were flooded, but at least the beach was packed down so my 2wd truck made it all the way to the water for the first time in a while. We started off with whole crab, and got one BR in like the first two hours, and were regretting being out there. .. kept trying new spots and new depths, and finally must have hit a hole cuz we couldn't keep bait in the water.. caught a bunch or BR and ran out of mullet. Tried croaker and that didn't work. I had brought a stingray I found in my bait freezer from probably 1985 and we cut that up and caught some sharks...
My friend kicked my ass but he usually does. That is just the way it is.
Anyway, I plan on getting back out there as early as tomorrow ( Tuesday, October 2) so PM me if interested! Probably wont be too early of a start though. As always, life jacket required and recommended VHF radio
