Great weekend fishing at MP Rigs

What a beautiful trip! I drove to MP on Friday and met with DrWhiteCap. We had decided to camp that night and fish the next morning. When I got there, the water was so calm I almost to paddle out that evening but I decided to hold my excitement for the next day. After few beers, rigging, and planing, we were ambushed by mosquitoes so decided to call it a day.

Next morning we met with Killerbee and paddle out to the rigs at first light. We all had the same goal in mind .... Kings!! I honestly didn't care what I caught, I just wanted to fish and meet cool people with the same passion for fishing. I caught 2 kings that day....41in and 49 in. Not bad for my first time catching kings ever!!

On our paddle back, it started raining really hard to a point that I couldn't see the shoreline. Needless to say, I ended up in Marker 90 when we were parked in Marker 81. Well, if you were there on Saturday and saw a guy running in the middle of the rain all soaked...yeah that would be me. I wasn't trying to loose weight, I was just trying run to my car from Marker 90 to 81
