PINS Sail 2

Post by DumpTruck »

Had a pretty fun PINS trip. First day, first fish, Kurt caught a sail. Weather had us boogered and on/off the water a lot. Surf was flat. 2 years ago I caught a sail down there from dang near the same spot in real similar conditions. Backwards current. I luv PINS.

Caught some kings, didn't do too well on the bottom. One keeper snapper. I snagged a king from the beach too. Sucker spooled me pretty quick, broke off. Caught a couple good kings right off the 3rd bar. Lots of bait in the surf.

Nice haul! We saw some kings catching crazy air. I threw a popper a bit, but no takers. Never caught a king on topwater...
