MP rigs July 10-11?

Post by Ciguatera »

Anyone interested in paddling the MP rigs this coming Tuesday and/or Wednesday if the weather cooperates? Meet at MM 80 at 6AM? I've watched the forecast get better and better over the last few days and would like to get offshore if anyone else wants to go.

Sounds good. I'll be in an overloaded ford focus - can't miss it.

Conditions were good today. Low swells and partly cloudy. Had 9 runs, 2 breakoffs, 2 spit hooks, with 5 kings up to 42" landed. 3 were kept, 2 were released. The bigger kings were caught on live bunker, with 1 on a lipped plug and the rest on ribbons. Also caught 1 Spanish and 1 undersized red snapper on a ribbon.

Best bite was about 9-930 and 12-1230.

Good day. Hope to do it again tomorrow if conditions stay good.
