Metagorda rigs from Caney creek?

Looking for some advice. I'm wanting to get out to the rigs offshore of East MetaGorda and just wanting to know how most people go about doing it. Launching from Caney Creek or just launching right into the surf?

I launch off the beach about five miles down. I I I check the current flow to decide exactly where. I assume that you are referring to the visible rig with the pole stick up?
