Went out with my son to HI on 8/20, we did not get there until about 4pm. We were using cut mullet and proceeded to catch many very large gafftops. Towards 6pm we hooked up a 44"+ red, which ended up being the only red of the day. The water was nice and calm but the wind picked up a bit towards 6pm. It was overcast most of the time so the temperature was not that bad. Overall a nice afternoon on the water. I probably should of got up early in the morning to catch the early bite.
Sorry no pics.
