Surf was a little rough in the morning, but all of us made it through safely and with not turtles.
Caught my first king (40") about half way to the first rig on a yurzo deep diver. Second king (45") was caught between first and second rig on a ribbon fish. Caught my 3rd king, (48") on ribbon fish drifting, jigging at the 3rd rig. 2 fairly good size Smacks throwing spoons.
Had one buddy, caught 2 big and fat smacks and 24 inch black tip. Other friend caught some big smacks also, think one was about 27". Water was a bit rough, more than expected, but was definitely doable.
I very excited for them as I had a first timer and a newbie catching fish.
